Sherif Z. Mehanny, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Mehanny joined the Laser and Vein Center in August, 1997. Dr. Mehanny received his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the Am Shams University, School of Science in Cairo, Egypt. Following his Residency in Internal Medicine at Air Force Army Hospital in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Mehanny completed a Cardiology Fellowship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York as well as completing an additional Fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Mehanny is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Member of the American College of Cardiology, as well as a Member of the Florida and Manatee County Medical Societies.
